This flight is the only one to arrive early into the Ishigakijima island. Transferring once at Miyako Airport, we boarded the same plane and headed for Ishigakijima island. Because of the recent hijack incident, the handluggage checks were very strict and the 2 types of adhesives in the tool box which were okayed in Haneda were conviscated. Well, well!!
We landed at Ishigakijima just after 12 o'clock. The reason that the plane was late in arriving was not only because of the late departure from Haneda, but also the time taken in checking our hand luggage. Apologies to all the people on the plane that were in a rush. The photo is of a butterfly I noticed at Ishigakijima Port.
This is the boat that goes to Ishigakijima Island.
Cruising at a nice speed of 70 km per hour. It's well known that the Jet Foil makes a circuit doing 80km/h, but with that you have to sit down. But on this boat, you can experience the wind of 70km/h on the deck. I'd have to say it was great fun.
